something old rekindles
amd something present aches, good or bad in your heart.
every minute things change.
subtle some.
more obvious others.
impacting in ways you can never describe or even begin to understand.
time is the only thing that helps with these changes.
time is the only thing that eases pain, enhances greatness, and relieves burden.
why cannot time do what we ask of it?
slow down when we meet a kindered spirit who fills our hopes with reality dreams
or speed up when we are in agnony because those who mean the most turn on us and soon mean the least.
every minute a mechanical hand moves barely a fraction of measurement worth taking, yet put many of those fractions together and soon every change in every minute adds up
and becomes unbearable;
too much to fanthom.
what if inside our heads as we grew we heard the tick of the hands moving, as each minute passes? what if it spoke loud and clear, like the chimes of the hour on a grandfather clock?
would it drive us insane like the steady drip of chinese water torture, or would it remind us and motivate us not to waste even the smallest fraction of a second on minor, unimportant detail?
i would like to believe it wouldnt rush people, but make them persue the things they want with the utmost convinction and never let those kindered spirits drift away.
live each minute like it means as much as a month of living.
not live like we do today where we take our time and focus on things not meaningful, but instead let the steady tick of each minute go by to be a pleasant reminder that every choice made is made with clarity and hope of what each minute after the last one may bring.
sixty seconds in a persons life is just as meaningful as a day, a month, a year.
just imagine what sixty seconds brings the world?
and then, imagine if we were all reminded of this, minute after minute, day after day... would you do things differenty? would i? would the world?
